Vienna Science School in Applied Mathematics 2025

Vienna Science School in Applied Mathematics is a three-day outreach program in Vienna for 30 high-school students who are winners of an international mathematics tournament held in Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium — one of the largest European team competitions, bringing together hundreds of participants.

The program aims to foster students’ interest in science by engaging them with scientists from leading Austrian research institutions. It also seeks to connect the next generation of future scientists, innovators, and high-tech entrepreneurs across Europe, helping them build networks for future international projects. The scientific program is complemented by a cultural program in the beautiful city of Vienna.

The program is organized by the Mathematik macht Freude team and supported by KU Leuven, the University of Bonn, and Radboud University.
