Alisa Beketova

This year, in 2022, Alisa has moved on to her final year at the Dnipro Scientific Lyceum of Information Technologies, which is one of the top mathematical schools in Ukraine. As part of the school curriculum, she successfully defended her graduation project developing her own raster editor. She is currently working on a new project - a "Smart Yogurt Machine". Alias has also actively participated and won prizes in interregional competitions in mathematics and physics, and took part in courses on cybersecurity in the Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. 

Alisa has been interested in informatics and natural sciences since childhood. She has successfully completed a three-year course at the International Computer Academy IT-STEP, specializing in IT education. Over the course of three years, she has mastered four programming languages (C#, C++, JS, Python) and gained experience in robotics, sensor programming and Arduino. Since then, she doesn't skip a day to improve her knowledge in these areas. 

Besides natural sciences, Alisa is interested in literature, notably in writing poetry. She actively participates in various contests. She has been published in three books, such as "Children's poems about Peace" in the competition from the United Nations Children's Fund UNICEF.

In Maths+, she not only participates in the programming courses but also enjoys helping younger students to master computer science.
