Mykola Arzubov graduated from V.N. Karasin Kharkiv National University and has been working as a computer science teacher at Academic Lyceum #45 in Kharkiv for more than 20 years. For his outstanding contribution to education, he was awarded the title "Honoured Teacher".

Mykola is the founder and director of the organization Q-Bit, which empowers thousands of high school and university students to learn how to code. Under his guidance, many students have achieved success in national and international programming competitions.

Mykola is one of the founders and organizers of the All-Ukrainian Mathematics and Programming Summer School LOL, which has been held annually for 16 years. In 2023 summer school LOL will be organized online in cooperation with project MmF as Kharkiv-Vienna Science School.
