Borys Ianovskyi was born in Kyiv in 2008. Since 2022, he has been attending the Ukrainian Physics and Mathematics Lyceum of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

He is fond of chemistry, physics, maths, zoology, English, and Germany.

National level of the all-Ukrainian science olympiads:

• Ukrainian Chemistry Olympiad 2023 — 2nd prize
• Ukrainian Chemistry Olympiad 2024 — 3rd prize
• Ukrainian Chemistry Olympiad 2025 — 3rd prize

Borys also participated in the Research Experience Summer School for Gifted Ukrainian STEM High School Students (S4U – Science For Ukraine – Summer School) held in July and August of 2023 and 2025 in New York City.

Since 2014, he has been swimming competitively and has won several medals. For example, in 2024, he took third place in the 50-meter freestyle event.
