Bohdan Fastnakht was born in Lviv in 2008. In 2022, he entered the Lviv Physics and Mathematics Lyceum, where he is now in his final year of high school. 

In 2023, Bohdan won the first place in the All-Ukrainian Chemistry Olympiad and the All-Ukrainian Distant Chemistry Olympiad, as well as the third place in the All-Ukrainian (Internet) Chemistry Olympiad.

In 2024, Bohdan won the second place in the All-Ukrainian Chemistry Olympiad as well as the first place in the All-Ukrainian Distant Chemistry Olympiad. At the Baltic Chemistry Olympiad, he won the second place among the participants from four countries. At the International Chemistry Olympiad, he won a silver medal. 

His plan for the next year is the win a gold medal at the International Chemistry Olympiad.

In his spare time, Bohdan enjoys playing volleyball and table tennis. He also likes to go for walks by himself or with friends.
