Vladyslav Musiienko was born in Kyiv in 2009. He entered the Ukrainian Physical and Mathematical Lyceum (UPML) in 2023. Before this, he took part in mathematics and biology olympiads and was involved in the mathematical circle »Tsyfra« from 2nd to 4th grade, and »Kvanta« from 5th to 7th grade. During his studies at UPML, in addition to mathematics, he began to participate in physics olympiads. At the fourth and final stage of the All-Ukrainian Physics Olympiad, he won first place in 2024.

As a child, Vladyslav was very fond of astronomy. When he was offered to take part in the selection for the International Astronomy Olympiad, he agreed. In the summer of 2024, he took part in the selection for the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics - junior. The olympiad itself will take place in October.

Vladyslav enjoys fishing and cycling, also competitively. Before that, he practised Arashi Karate for 8 years, earning a brown belt in karate and gaining a lot of experience in tournaments.

Before attending UPML, he studied at Lyceum 157 from 1st to 4th grade at Lyceum 142 from 5th to 7th grade.
