Alina Mitsa was born in 2008 in Uzhhorod. She is currently studying at Uzhhorod Scientific Lyceum.

Alina has participated in different mathematics and informatics competitions. She has won third place at the All-Ukrainian Olympiad in Mathematics (2023), third place at the All-Ukrainian Olympiad in Informatics (2023), third place in the All-Ukrainian Junior Olympiad in Informatics (2023), third place in the All-Ukrainian Girls Olympiad in Informatics (2023, 2024), and second place at the All-Ukrainian Olympiad in Mathematics (2024).

In 10th grade, Alina wrote a research paper Puzzle Problems with Solutions based on Well-Known Sequences for the contest of the Junior Academy of Sciences, where she won third place at the regional level. In this work, she identified sequences while solving problems, discovered regularities, and used them to solve new problems.

She has been attending various summer and winter schools focused on mathematics and programming. Alina is also attending extracurricular lessons in Smart School.

Alina loves drawing, watching movies, hanging out with friends and playing volleyball in her free time.
