Valerii Kovnatskyi

Valerii Kovnatskyi was born in Kharkiv in 2007. He is currently finishing his last year of high school in the Boiko Super Math department of Boiko Author's School.

From a young age, Valerii has shown interest in mathematics and studied it intensively. Starting in 5th grade, he has participated in numerous regional olympiads in informatics, mathematics and physics with very good results.

His first notable accomplishment was winning second place in the All-Ukrainian Olympiad in Physics in 2023. In the same year, he won third place in the Olympiad of geometric creativity named after Yasinsky. Also, Valerii has participated in the Team Physics Olympiad »Motion Cup«, obtaining second place twice.

In the last school year, Valerii decided to focus on the field he found most exciting, which was programming. His hard work paid off: He won second prizes in the All-Ukrainian Olympiads in Informatics and Mathematics, took second place in the All-Ukrainian Olympiad NetOI-2023, participated in the final stage of the school ICPC competition, and took part in the selection for the Balkan Olympiad in Informatics.

Valerii hopes to represent Ukraine at the International Olympiad in Informatics in the future.
